Grant funding is now available towards cost of replacing high bay metal halide/fluorescent installations with LED luminaries to reduce lighting load. Aimed at commercial premises, the grant can save you up to 20% on the cost of the new installation and will even include dimming and movement detection
options for the work. The grant is funded through the Northern Ireland Sustainable Energy Programme (NISEP) for the financial year April 2019 to March 2020.
NISEP is a sustainability scheme, aimed at both domestic and commercial properties in Northern Ireland. NISEP’s aims are to alleviate fuel poverty by improving poorly heated and inadequately insulated properties, as well as to promote energy efficiency and emission reducing projects in the domestic and business sectors. Part of this promotion is to help commercial properties to become more energy efficient through the installation of LED lights.
